Trevor was born on December 5, 1996, in Simi Valley, California. At the tender age of 5, Trevor ceremoniously demanded the attention of the shoppers at Trader Joe’s and proceeded to entertain the crowd with his own rap version of Judy Garland in “A Star is Born”. The crowd loved him, and Trevor had a blast.
In March 2006, he performed in his first musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” with the Pasadena Jewish Temple’s theater club. Catching the “ear” of one of the adult performers, he was referred to the Pasadena Boys Choir, the oldest civic boys choir in the country. After only a five-minute audition, Choir Director John Barron recognized his natural musical talent and welcomed him into the choir. He is now starting his third year with PBC and is looking forward to his first solo performance at the 2008 Winter Concert.
In the fall of 2006, Trevor began his formal actor’s training with June Chandler’s Actors Workshops in Studio City. After a year, he transferred to Alison Kalmus’ Youth Theater Workshop at the Sierra Madre Playhouse, where he is still currently enrolled.
Early in 2008, Trevor decided he wanted to go to work. Not to be discouraged by the Writers’ Guild strike, Trevor began submitting for film roles. He was cast in his first role in a short film in February 2008.
“Jack in the Pulpit” is Trevor’s first lead in an independent film. His sensitivity and understanding of the subject matter made him a natural choice for Director Ben Conrad to cast him in the lead role of Jack, a wise yet troubled boy in need of a positive male role model.
